My name is Syan Clarke. I have been a social worker for 7 years and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I've obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work and became a Licensed Master's Social Worker in February 2023. I've had previous experience working in child welfare, substance abuse, and mental health. In regards to therapy, I have experience in the areas of addictions, anxiety, depression, couples/families, life transitions, and trauma. I utilize what evidence-based treatment approach works for you, from a psychodynamic approach to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)--whatever suits you.

I truly enjoy the work I do in helping others grow and develop. Having faced my own struggles with postpartum depression, anxiety, and my own life transitions, I know what it can be like to seek out help. Being a first generation Jamaican, I have a natural connection with other cultures and how they can clash with Western American culture. I'm practical and empathetic in my approach and I enjoy posing challenges to you, so that you can feel and function at your absolute best.
When I'm not helping others heal, I am with my family or some food! I enjoy church, traveling and serving my community. Seeking therapy is a journey. And it's definitely a marathon, not a sprint, so let's get to work.
